It is obvious that current Turkish position vis a vis Israel is not discouraged at all by current US administration. The relationship between Obama and Erdogan are very close.
Erdogan was not like that 3 years ago. His unprecedentedly bold politics of late is the result of understanding that Obama tacitly or maybe not so tacitly endorsing it.
It is quite obvious from the interview where after a few standard BS answers the question regarding Obama he answers visibly honestly.
Contrast that with Netanyahu answers to very forcefully asked questions on Obama by pro-Obama interviewer who is trying to get an endorsement for Obama from Netanyahu. Netanyahu turns evasive and diplomatic.
